Preview: This is the second part of a three-part lesson of the same name.
Scripture Reading: I Corinthians 10:1-13.
Memory Verse: Psalm 61:2.
1. Is there any difficulty in deciding which Rock Christ is talking about? Discuss. Matthew 16:18-19, I Corinthians 10:4.
2. Who can safely go to the Rock? Matthew 11:28.
3. What must we do to receive this? Matthew 11:29-30.
4. What is required of us? Matthew 16:24-25.
5. Just how far does denying ourselves go? Luke 14:26, Matthew 10:37-38.

7. What final promise do we have? Revelation 2:10.
Note: It may seem strange but this is really how we build on that Rock, that great foundation, with Jesus Christ as the chief corner stone. Like Peter, we can only become small stones worthy to be mixed with the aggregate of the Holy Spirit by the loving hand of Jesus, and fitted into place in the wall of this great house of God as it pleases Him.
8. What does the water that flowed from the Rock in the wilderness typify in Christ? John 4:10-14.
9. Was it also a witness? Explain. John 19:34.
10. Can anyone take advantage of it and what is the cost? Revelation 22:17.
