Preview: Our lesson is designed to help us see how our attitude can help or hinder us in our Christian life. It will help us to see how we can improve, and the attitude that should be possessed by every Christian in the many problems and trials of life. This is the first part of a three-part series of lessons.
Scripture Reading: Luke 10:25-37.
Memory Verse: Luke 10:37.
1. What must our attitude be if we want to be forgiven for our sins and want our soul saved? Psalm 34:18.
Note: Attitude is defined as our disposition, our feelings, or our actions toward others or in the midst of various situations of life. Attitude is a very important attribute in the life of a Christian. If exercised in the right way, our attitude will give us a new outlook on life both temporally and spiritually. The wrong attitude can make life meaningless, unfruitful, and can hinder relationships with God and our fellowmen.
2. What should be our disposition toward God? Matthew 22:37.
3. Will we let other things come between us and God if we have this attitude? Romans 8:38-39.
4. What attitude should every Christian have toward attending Church? Psalm 122:1.
5. Which attitudes are accepted and rejected by the Lord? Isaiah 1:19-20.
6. What is able to determine our thoughts and attitudes? Hebrews 4:12.
7. How does the Lord feel toward a lukewarm attitude? Revelation 3:15-16.
