Wisdom

Preview: Godly wisdom is greater than all that can be learned from the world. Applying what we know of God to our daily lives will bring not only fulfillment and peace in this life, but life everlasting as a final reward.


Scripture Reading: Psalm 37:1-13.

Memory Verse: Proverbs 8:10.

1. What will true wisdom do for a Christian? Proverbs 2:9-12.
2. In what condition is a man who truly finds wisdom? Proverbs 3:13-14.
3. How great is the wisdom of God? Proverbs 3:15.
Note: Many professed Christians miss the happiness there is in the wisdom of God. They don’t have that Spiritual discernment. Therefore, they seek happiness and pleasure from worldly sources, and fail to know that Bible knowledge is greater than all other knowledge combined.
4. To whom are the Scriptures plain and true? Proverbs 8:9.
5. Whom has the Lord promised to bless? Proverbs 8:34.
6. How are the Laws of God valuable to the children of God? Proverbs 13:14. 
7. Which is greater, the wisdom of God or gold? 9. Why can’t a fool receive Bible wisdom? Proverbs 24:7.

Note: The wisdom of God changes a man’s ways to the ways of God. He can know that he is not like he was, he can take things that he could not, be peaceable, be approached easily even about his wrongs, is merciful, has good fruits, shuns the appearance of evil. The wisdom of God exceeds all the deceits of the world.
13. How will God teach and guide us with His wisdom? Psalm 32:8. 
14. Should we be like a horse about the guidance of God? Discuss. Psalm 32:9.
15. How much will we understand if we seek the Lord? Proverbs 28:5.
16. Through whose teaching will we be profitable? Isaiah 48:17. 
17. What is the Lord's message to those who are not interested in His wisdom? Proverbs 1:22-23.
