Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 28:1-14.

Memory Verse: Psalm 33:12.

1. What has God promised to do for a nation who obeys His laws according to the Scripture Reading? Deuteronomy 28:1.
2. Discuss all the blessings God said would overtake such a nation. Deuteronomy 28:2-14.
Note: Those promises are also for individuals who will seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.
3. What is promised to those whose god is not the Lord? Deuteronomy 28:5-24.
4. Should an ungodly nation expect to have victory in times of war? Deuteronomy 28:25-26 & Deuteronomy 28:48-52.
5. What warning do we have concerning incurable diseases? Deuteronomy 28:27-29 & Deuteronomy 28:59-62.
6. What affect does disobedience have on family life? Deuteronomy 28:30-32.
7. How will it affect our religious freedom? Deuteronomy 28:36-37.
8. How does it affect our livelihood? Deuteronomy 28:38-40 & Deuteronomy 28:42.
9. What happens to the economy? Deuteronomy 28:43-46.
Note: Can we see our nation in the foregoing Scriptures?
10. Does God, Satan, or an individual make this choice? Deuteronomy 11:26-28 & Deuteronomy 30:10-19.
Note: The Devil does not bring bad weather, sickness, famine, death, etc. upon us. He does tempt us to sin because he came to steal, kill, and destroy, but the choice is ours to make. Satan is a powerful force. The only way we can escape his influence is to draw nearer to God.
