Preview: The Ten Commandments are hinged on the love of God and the love of our fellowman. They are eternal, and God expects us to follow each one.

Scripture Reading: Exodus 20:1-17.

Memory Verse: Romans 3:23.

1. What is the first great Commandment? Matthew 22:37-38.
2. What is the second great Commandment? Matthew 22:39.
3. What hangs on the two great Commandments? Matthew 22:40.
Note: Many people think the Commandments start and end with “Love God and love thy neighbor.” They fail to recognize that which hangs on these two Commandments: “All the law and the prophets.”
4. Are we justified by the deeds of the law? Why or why not? Romans 3:20.
5. By what do we show our love of God? I John 5:3.
6. Why should we obey the law? Romans 2:12-13.
7. To whom is the law good? I Timothy 1:7-8.
8. For whom was the law made? I Timothy 1:9-10.
9. What is sin? I John 3:4.
10. What was Jesus’ mission on earth? Matthew 5:17.
11. By what can we determine false prophets? Isaiah 8:20.
Note: There are many teachers today who do not speak according to the Law and the testimony. These are the false prophets and antichrists that Jesus warned us about. They say that obedience to the Law (the Ten Commandments) is no longer required, because we can have salvation if we merely believe on His name. Many people have accepted this deception.
