Preview: This lesson is designed to explain the Lord’s seal and what it means to us. This takes place before the seventh seal is opened and the plagues rained down on the earth. The Lord takes care of His people. For greater understanding this lesson should be preceded by “The Seven Seals Open” and followed by “The Seventh Seal and the Trumpets.”
Scripture Reading: Luke 10:25-37.
Memory Verse: Matthew 7:20.
1. How many angels were there and what were they holding? Revelation 7:1.
2. Why were the angels holding the four winds? Revelation 7:2-3.
Note: Winds in the Bible are used as a symbol of strife and war, and a “method of destruction.”
3. How many were sealed and who were they? Revelation 7:4-8 & Revelation 14:1.
4. What were they protected with? Revelation 7:9 & Revelation 7:14.
5. Will we be praising God also? Revelation 7:10-12.
6. How do we know we will be protected? Revelation 7:15-17.
Note: The seal of God is a sign of ownership as well as a pledge of security, and will protect us from the great time of trouble.
7. How long will the seal protect us? Ephesians 4:30 & II Timothy 2:19.
