Preview: This is part three of a four-part series regarding the plagues of the last days.
Scripture Reading: Revelation 16:9-21.
Memory Verse: Revelation 16:20.
1. What was the fourth plague poured out upon? Revelation 16:8.
2. How did the fourth plague effect men that had the mark? Revelation 16:9.
Note: Surely this is not in the past or the present, but it is in the future.
3. Upon whom does the fifth plague fall? Revelation 16:10.
Note: By this time men cannot repent as the Lord has withdrawn His Spirit. The door of mercy is closed. The Lord strikes at the seat of the Great Apostasy of the latter day. It will doubtless be similar in effect to the plagues in Egypt.
4. How great was the plague of darkness in Egypt? Exodus 10:21-23.
Note: Surely this plague will also affect the electric systems, for the sun, the moon and the stars will be darkened.
5. What was Peter's understanding of darkness prior to Christ's coming? Acts 2:17-20.
6. What takes place under the sixth plague? Revelation 16:12.
Note: The River Euphrates is a short river and a scorching, burning sun could easily dry it up.
7. What spirits came forth and from where? Revelation 16:13.
8. Where did they gather and with whom did they battle? Revelation 16:14.
Note: The frogs were not literal, but the spirits were cold like a frog. They appeal to the kings. The battle was that of God Almighty, not nation against nation. Armageddon is found in only one place in the Bible. It is northwest of Jerusalem.
9. What is the final warning at this hour? Revelation 16:15.
