Preview: The Sabbath was given to man in order that we may have one day a week to rest from our labors and devote to the celebration and worship of the Lord. It was so important to God that He made it one of the Ten Commandments. It is not optional and cannot be taken lightly or changed to suit man’s whims. The Lord was very specific about which day and what activities were to take place on that day.
