Note: Many have wondered why just these particular “seven” churches are mentioned when there were many others. Also, many wonder why the number “seven” is used so many times. Seven is the perfect number, denoting completion or fullness. The vision of seven churches covers the entire history of the Christian Church in all its phases and experiences.
