Note: A lack of confidence comes about through unbelief. We cannot be confident when we have doubts. Many prayers become repetitious and of no effect because of unbelief and doubting in the hearts of those who pray. We should ask God to help our unbelief so that we will trust Him like we should. Confidence fails to avail in the lives of many because of their disobedience to God’s command. When we disobey, we cannot be confident that God will do what we ask of Him. Obedience brings about a greater confidence. Confident living depends wholly upon whether we are a child of God and putting our trust in Him. Let us obey the Lord and trust Him more than ever before. Great things can happen because faithful is He that promised if we continue to abide in Him.
