Preview: It is important to recognize when our hearts are not pure, and know how to change that so that we can meet God with a clear conscience and spirit.
Scripture Reading: Psalm 51:1-12.
Memory Verse: Matthew 5:8.
1. How do we make our hearts clean? Philippians 4:7-8 & Luke 16:13.
2. What is our heart? Deuteronomy 6:4-6 & Deuteronomy 11:13.
Note: Heart and soul are often used interchangeably. It is the center of our soul-life as well as our physical life.
3. What happens when we are involved in wicked things? Matthew 15:16-20 & Mark 7:18-23.
4. Can sin be committed in an unclean heart? Matthew 5:27-28.
5. What must we do to have our hearts cleansed? John 3:14-16, John 3:18 & Mark 16:16.
6. To what should we have our minds turned? Philippians 4:8-9.
7. Can we still be saved with half-clean hearts? Luke 11:33-36.
8. Will the wicked understand the pure in heart? Daniel 12:10.
9. Who will be allowed the privilege of climbing the “Lord’s Hill”? Psalm 24:3-5.
Note: This will be a wonderful privilege, but it will happen only if our hearts and lives are clean and pure.
